The Seaside Campus concept serves as a platform for continuous learning and skills development. Seaside Campus brings together operators from different school levels and companies in the region. Seaside Campus arranges various events and forums. The concept also enhances the attractiveness of the region's labour market and generates growth in the region.
The concept is implemented by key companies in the maritime cluster, WinNova, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences SAMK, Rauma Chamber of Commerce, City of Rauma and Seaside Industry Park Rauma, supported by Korsi - Eurajoen Säästöpankkisäätiö sr Foundation, RKTK Foundation and other stakeholders in the maritime industry.
How it all started?
The concept for the Seaside Campus establishment phase was developed as part of the Shared Learning Environment for Maritime Technology network companies (ESF) project funded by the Central Finland Regional Development Centre (ELY). The project was implemented from August 2021 to November 2023.
As of 2024, the Seaside Campus is privately funded. The concept will be continuously developed to meet regional needs.
